100% Wool Carpet TILES

Dual-pile textured carpet tiles made from 100% New Zealand wool.

Tested by the NZWTO against ISO standards, our wool tiles scored 3 out of 5 on the The Castor Chair Wear Test (BS EN 985-2011), outperforming most American nylon tiles in terms of durability and appearance retention.

Featuring pile height of 5mm and an 8mm acoustic cushion backing + a 10 year manufacturers warranty, these wool carpet tiles are an ideal choice for high traffic spaces such as offices, board rooms, co-working spaces, hospitals etc.

Woven Axminster is the traditional manufacturing method for patterned cut pile carpet. 80% wool fibre blended with 20% nylon is the most commonly used fibre content.

Axminster is arguably still the best performer of all cut pile carpet types.

Custom MOQ’s start at 200m², however we can offer MOQ’s as low as 20m² using a fast track loom with a preset colour palette. Ideal for custom residential.

This process allows designs to be produced in relatively small quantities, and over various tufted carpet qualities and surface textures.

Dye injection patterns are applied in high resolution over the entire 4 metre width of the carpet.

Tufting Wellington Town Hall Carpet - Custom cut /loop

Machine Tufted

Textured cut/loop - cut piles - loop piles

Tufting creates plain cut pile or loop pile carpets in various weights, fibre types and pile heights. It also manufactures textural patterns on specialised cut / loop tufting machines.

Custom MOQ’s start at around 300m² with the exception of one machine called Pass Tuft which will manufacture a single colour cut pile in 100% wool starting at 20m² MOQ. It's often used for custom residential projects.

Hand-tufted is mostly known as a rug making technique however it is increasingly being used for manufacturing custom wall to wall carpeting in high end residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

With no MOQ and maximum flexibility on design, colour, texture and fibre content it can produce a fabulous and unique wall to wall fitted carpet.
