The George Hotel in Christchurch is a luxury boutique hotel opposite Hagley Park and the Avon River, known for its refined hospitality and strong connection to local art. Renovations delivered updated public spaces, including the Pescatore restaurant, alongside refreshed guest rooms imbued with warmth and timeless elegance. Custom Carpets contributed by supplying a bespoke carpet design that aligns with the hotel’s intimate, art-centric identity.

The carpet needed to reflect the understated sophistication of The George. Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s interior finishes, local art collection, and the natural surroundings of Hagley Park, our design delivers a thoughtful layer underfoot that supports both comfort and elegance. It works seamlessly with the hotel’s curated artworks and wood detailing to enhance spatial unity and guest experience.-
